MINNESOTA HOT-DISH

Minnesota Hotdish
Kitchen’s in a big mess
Throw me that dishrag
Better get a trash bag
I need a salad for the potluck
And a crockpot full of
Minnesota Hotdish
Hamburger, top round
Butter by the half pound
Tell it’s done by the sound
Grease it up and swallow down
Tatertots, sour cream
Don’t forget the green beans
Big pots start to steam
Top it off with saltines
MINNESOTA HOTDISH
Stewed tomatoes, onions
Soak it up with cracker crumbs
Wild rice, bacon fried
Bake it ‘til it’s petrified
Canned spam, celery
Corn and macaroni
Looks a little (kinda) watery
But who needs a recipe?
MINNESOTA HOTDISH
Minnesota Hotdish
Minnesota Hotdish
Kitchen’s in a big mess
Throw me that dishrag
I need a salad for the potluck
And a crockpot full of
Minnesota Hotdish
(Instrumental)
Crushed chips
Wire whips
Mushroom soup until it drips
Canned peas
Shredded cheese
Add some chicken of the seas
Noodles drained, peppers diced
Half a pound potatoes sliced
Stir it up, heat it twice
Leftovers are always nice
